Yesterday, Jessica Minh Anh attended BCBGMAXAZRIA's intimate dinner celebrating the launch of the Fall 2022 Collection at LIGHTBOX in New York City.
The Signature Collection is newly appointed Creative Director Albino Riganello’s debut under the BCBGMAXAZRIA house. Inspired by Venice and the Biennale, the epicenter and largest exhibition of public and contemporary art, Riganello’s designs bridge his interpretation of the BCBGMAXAZRIA woman and the house’s signature codes.
“This collection pays homage to the Uber chic Italians soft erotic movies from the 70s and their icons Edwige Fenech, Barbara Bouchet and Zeudy Araya.” – Albino Riganello, Creative Director of BCBGMAXAZRIA
The BCBGMAXAZRIA woman is not afraid of experimentation. She is an art lover, a Visionaire, a philanthropist, a pioneer, and more – her way of dressing has evolved along with the changing of the times. Versatility rules her wardrobe and outfits need to easily be transformed from day to night.
Reinforcing the signatures of founder Max Azria, Riganello focuses on modern silhouettes in neutrals as well as Biennale-inspired hues. Tailoring is a big focus for this season’s key offerings. A signature turquoise blue pant suit is given a modern twist with an open back belted together in the back of the waist. A millennial pink double-breasted blazer is worn either as a dress or as a jacket. The olive green long sleeve asymmetrical dress with a waist cutout and cinched detail steals the show at a cocktail affair. A slightly muted autumn red, long pleated maxi dress with millennial pink color blocking is a favorite pick for a formal gala. Also available for purchase from this collection are the footwear. The feather slippers and Mary Jane platforms complement this season’s must haves.
Jessica Minh Anh's look for the night includes BCBGMAXAZRIA's iconic red chiffon dress, Alexandre de Paris' signature red bow, and 60s up-do by Warren Tricomi's team.
