J SUMMER FASHION SHOW
SKY-HIGH OCEAN CATWALK IN RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL
On 19 December 2023, JMA's famous catwalk series will enter a new continent on board a luxurious cruise ship in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Overlooking the city's iconic skyline, J Summer Fashion Show will continue capturing global media attention while premiering exquisite fashion and accessory collections from five continents. Previous editions of the Catwalk-On-Water series took place in Paris, Dubai, New York, Sydney, Hong Kong, and Portofino, Italy.
The red-carpet VIP event will welcome international brands, influential figures, government officials, and the global media on board to enjoy a combination of art, architecture, culture, fashion, sustainability and technology in a unique way. Guests will also enjoy Brazilian and Italian delicacy, live music, and a VIP party after the show.
Participating brands and partners will stay ahead of the competition by becoming a part of a global phenomenon.
THE CITY
Rio de Janeiro, also known as the "Marvelous City," is one of the world’s the most famous destinations. Its breath-taking landscape, rich culture, lavish parties, and vibrant carnivals make it extraordinarily desirable for business and fashion.
THE SHIP
The giant ship is a floating museum of contemporary Italian art, luxury, and authenticity. It features a stunning 1,640-foot open-air Promenade, which resembles a real Italian seaside terrace.
FUTURE FASHION
J Summer Fashion Show will celebrate creativity, culture, diversity and inclusivity. Partnering with tech pioneers, the innovative catwalk will transform the physical catwalk into a digital fantasy, setting the scene for future fashion.
