FASHION x SUSTAINABILITY ON THE HUDSON, NEW YORK

J Autumn Fashion Show 2022 will take place on 19 October 2022 on Pier 34 at Hudson River Park, Manhattan, New York. The highly anticipated event is an impactful collaboration between Hudson River Park Trust and supermodel Jessica Minh Anh to highlight the park's green initiatives alongside fashion and beauty.

The high-profile event will premiere exquisite collections from international fashion and accessory brands. Against the cinematic backdrop of New York skyline, the show will capture global media attention and deliver a powerful message on sustainability.

THE PIER

Hudson River’s newest pier is popular with sunset chasers. This pier’s wooden piles provide habitat for river wildlife. Innovations of the past become features of the current recreational riverfront oasis and thriving estuary. An engineering marvel overlooking New York’s stunning skyline, the elongated wooden walkway provides a perfect catwalk location for J Autumn Fashion Show 2022.

THE SHOW

J Autumn Fashion Show 2022 combines two of JMA’s famous catwalk series, namely Fashion x Sustainability and Catwalk-On-Water, into one mind-blowing extravaganza. Previous editions took place at John F. Kennedy international airport in New York, Gemasolar Power Plant in Spain, Hoover Dam in the US, and most recently the world's newest Liquefied Natural Gas -powered cruise ship in Italy in February 2022.

NEW YORK'S GREEN INITIATIVES

New York City is actively protecting Hudson River’s 400-acre Estuarine Sanctuary and its 85+ species of fish. J Autumn Fashion Show 2022 will highlight Hudson River as a living laboratory alongside its research projects including oyster restoration, fish ecology, water quality, plastic pollution and environmental DNA.
